Open Air Nativity Carol Service. | 4.00pm
Once again Edinburgh Churches Together are collaborating with the City Council and the Exile Choir to hold an open air carol service on Advent Sunday. Details can be found on the City's Winter Festival website: http://www.edinburghschristmas.com/content/nativitycarolconcert/2475/. As usual the Service will be hosted by the Lord Provost and led by some of Edinburgh's Church leaders. Please note however that due to tram works the venue has been changed to St Andrew's Square at 4.00pm on Advent Sunday, 29th November.
Christ for All Nations - International Carol Service | 6.30pm
There will be an International Carol Service at Greenside Parish Church below Calton Hill, hosted By Rev Andrew Anderson and led by a number of choirs from the ethnic minority churches in Edinburgh. This is a wonderful local celebration of the global church to start the Christmas season as we approach 2010 & the centenary of the 1910 World Missionary Conference held in Edinburgh. The service will last a couple of hours or so and is suitable for children - feel free to quietly come and go.

Come and Sing Carols with the Choristers of St. Mary’s Cathedral | 1:30pm to 4:30pm
The choristers at St. Mary's Cathedral are inviting anyone between the ages of 7 - 11 years old to come to the Cathedral and rehearse some carols with Duncan Ferguson (Master of the Music at St. Mary's) and Susan Hamilton (Dunedin Consort).
