Friday 3 September 2010 Announcement: The Revd Dr Harriet Harris has been appointed as Chaplain to the University of Edinburgh and as such has been issued with a Licence with effect from 2 September 2010.

Thursday 2 September 2010 Collation: Please remember in your thoughts and prayers The Revd Andy Keulemans who is being Collated as Rector of St Peter’s, Musselburgh and St Andrew’s, Prestonpans on Wednesday 8 September at 7.30pm at St Peter’s Musselburgh.

Wednesday 1 September 2010 Announcement: The Revd Andrew Bain has been issued with a Commission, with effect from 1 September 2010.

Wednesday 25 August 2010 Appointment: The Revd Ruth Innes has been appointed as the Rector of Christ Church, Falkirk with effect from 8 October 2010. Ruth is presently Rector of St Marks Church, Portobello and her last Sunday there will be 12 September.

Monday 23 August 2010 Time For Parents: Marion Chatterley, an accredited Mothers' Union Facilitator, will be offering a course for parents and carers on Wednesday nights from 22 September to 27 October from 7pm-9pm at Christ Church Morningside. The course is called a Time for Parents and it aims to help people to develop their parenting skills, build relationships and contribute to the stability of family life in society. Monday 23 August 2010 The Revd Canon Jim Wynn-Evans: It is with great sadness that we announce the death of The Revd Canon Jim Wynn-Evans on Friday 20th August. The funeral service will be on Friday 3rd September at 3pm at Old St Paul's Church, Edinburgh. The request is no cards or flowers please but to make a donation to a charity of your choice if you feel that is appropriate.

Friday 6 August 2010 Vacancy - Church Manager: St Peter’s Church, Lutton Place, Edinburgh: As part of our strategic vision, we are reorganising our administrative and management structure to provide better support for the clergy and a team of lay workers and volunteers. We are seeking to appoint a Church Manager to fulfil this role. The appointment will, in the first instance, be part time (20 hours per week) for three years at an annual salary of £9,000.
