The total for Bishop Brian’s 2008 Lent appeal has now reached £17,000.
Two charities were chosen to benefit from the appeal this year: HealthLink360, a charity which provides medical and psychological care to personnel working with mission agencies and humanitarian aid agencies around the world, and the Congregation of the Sisters of the Visitation of Our Lady in Papua New Guinea to enable them to improve their hospice facilities.
