Vocation
The role of the Diocesan Director of Ordinands (DDO) is to journey alongside people as they seek to discern whether they have a call to ordained ministry, whether priestly or diaconal.
The DDO is the Revd Marion Chatterley.
The Diocese works within a Provincial model for recruitment and selection, all recommendations being for training under the oversight of TISEC. Diocesan training is overseen locally.
The Diocesan Director of Ordinands liaises regularly with the Initial Ministerial Education Co-ordinator, ensuring that candidates have a smooth transition into the training system and that their placements reflect their identified learning needs.
