Appointment of Bishop’s PA
Mr Tom Clement has been appointed as the Bishop’s PA.  Tom was formerly a PA to two MSPs and is an active member of Old St Paul’s Church.  Tom starts work at the Diocesan Office on Monday 23rd April.

Vocations Advisors
After recent advertising and interviewing, the following people have been invited to form a team of vocations advisors within the Diocese :
Richard Cornfield, Ruth Innes, Chris Knights, Nicola Moll and Elspeth Strachan.

This a new and exciting development in the life and mission of the Diocese, and the next step will be when the team meets with the new Bishop and Dean on 29th May. The purpose of this meeting is work together to determine how best the team should be shaped and will function in order to fulfil its purpose of
encouraging and discerning lay vocations across a wide spectrum. The experience and expertise of the Diocesan Director of Ordinands and Warden of Lay Readers will also be called on as part of this exercise, in recognition that there will be occasions when a vocation to ordained or other authorised ministries may emerge.
